We all want Bangor, Maine to be a place to live and thrive. Bangor can be a city that leaves nobody behind. We’ve got some obstacles to tackle on our way there.
Just a few of the issues Bangor is facing:
- Lack of affordable housing
- Residents experiencing homelessness
- Biosolids disposal concerns
- Economic issues
- Substance abuse and mental health
- Building a vibrant and thriving Downtown Bangor
- Transit system not meeting needs
The only way any of this improves in Bangor is if we work together and advocate for our community at all levels of government: local, state, and federal.
